Carrying and Returning a Lost Board

IKitesurf article and pictures of a useful technique used to return a lost board while in deep water.

We thought we’d include how to carry a board for a couple of reasons: firstly no end of kiters comment to us about how hard it is to carry a board now that so many people don’t use handles. Secondly it’s a bloody good way of keeping karma on your side, a bit like not eating Shark Empanadas, and we should all keep in mind the importance of helping each other out on the water when needs must.

Sebastian Ribeiro – Natural Pace

During the 2013 and 2014 KSP events I had the good fortune to witness Sebastian Ribeiro compete. He’s clearly one of the world’s best kitesurfers out there.

The last few months in Florianopolis have been kind of slow, wind and waves weren’t really lining together, and kitesurfers just had to wait for nature to cooperate and bring good conditions. Sebastian Ribeiro was determined to get the most of the few days everything lined up and this video is the result of it.
