Almost Had a 20 Mile Kite Session

Much of kiting is waiting for enough wind. And much of kiting in Alaska is waiting for wind AND for the proper tide stage. I realized while driving out to 20 Mile that I had forgotten my wetsuit. Ack! I can’t kite in Turnagain Arm without a wetsuit. I dash home and grab the wetsuit. I again pound out to 20 Mile which is an hour away. As I am passing Girdwood a feeble neuron sparks a memory of my board leaning against the wall next to my front door. Yup, I walked out my door and forgot my board … TWICE. Argh! I’ve yet again proved that old people’s memory is rubbish and that I’m older than dirt. Anyway, instead of kiting I took pictures of kiting.
