Go Big or go Home

Kevin Langaree, winner of the 2014 Red Bull King of the Air event in South Africa reflects on the competition. There’s even a little footage of Jesse Richman’s leg break accident.

Kevin Langeree made his mother a promise back in 2009, and this year, he made that promise come true.

After 10 years of competing on the PKRA Freestyle Tour and claiming the 2009 World Champion Title, there was only one thing left to do…win the Red Bull King of the Air!

It all came down to variety, quality over quantity, and good style mixed with elements of extremity. Put your hands in the air and scream as Kevin separates the men from the boys, rattling through the heats to eventually, walk away with the 2014 Red Bull King of the Air Title.

The future of kite boarding is here and Kevin is leading the way!

A Champion’s Guide to winning the KOTA:
1) Make sure you’re Kevin Langeree
2) Whisper sweet nothing’s to your Naish Monarch 134
3) Get pumped with your Naish 10m Torch
4) Use your 24m lines to your advantage
5) Get stoked!
