The 2015 Red Bull King of the Air Event is in its 14 day waiting period. Sometime between January 31, 2015 and February 14, 2015 competitors will kick off a one day tournement to determine who is the 2015 Big Air World Champion.
A little bit of King of the Air history says the very first Red Bull King of The Air ran at the hallowed windsurfing spot, Ho’okipa, on the Hawaiian islands of Maui in 2000. In my travels I happened upon the 2004 poster below and took a quick cell phone photo.
