SnowKite Jam started as a dream to have epic snowkite gatherings all over the world in the most desirable locations possible. We traveled the world in search of the best conditions possible and have not been able to compare any other location to Alaska.
This is the ultimate snowkite freeride event. We will provide our athletes with the most amazing snowkiting experience in the best location in the world. Where passionate snowkiters, kitesurfers, and powder hounds can go ride new locations with the best pros in the world. It is a trip designed for anyone, from the water kiteboarder trying snow out for the first time to the veteran snow pro that wants to enjoy an epic adventure through Alaska. We do recommend bringing backcountry equipment(shovel, probe, beacon) and having some foundation using it due to the natural desire to explore avalanche terrain.
Amateurs and professional snowkiters will be joining forces to enjoy world class conditions with an emphasis on becoming better kiters while having fun no matter what their level is with snowkiting. Featuring technique clinics from the pros, photos and video opportunities to improve your riding and to make your friends jealous, along with the best memories of your life!

Additionally, Alaska Kite Adventures is planning 2 ladies Snowkite clinics in Thompson pass in April. The first one is Saturday April 3 and the second one is Saturday April 16. 12 noon Odyssey lake parking lot Approx mile 26.5 Richardson Hwy. Ask for Aussie Jen, instructor. Plan $50.00 for 3+ hours instruction and support. Beginners welcome but the clinic will also focus on using the kite for mountain climbing and getting air. Hope to see you all there! Jen***
