Airton Cozolino and RedBull put on an invitational competition of many of the world’s best wave riders last week. Here are some highlights of the action.
Last year over the holidays, while I was obtaining my instructors certification, I had the privilege of sharing a meal (once) and hanging out with Airton several times. Hah! And Patri ‘almost killed’ one of my students and I when a kite landing went terribly awry. Fortunately, myself, Fynn, and Patri all survived the experience. The kite, regrettably, did not. Yes, he was appalled and terribly embarrassed.
